Wells Food Festival relies on volunteers to manage and run the event. We have a dedicated committee that works hard behind the scenes, plus a great bunch of people who help on the day. We’re a friendly and passionate team and are always looking for people to join us, whether it’s on a regular basis or just for a couple of hours on the event day. Welcome and orientate traders and marshal trader vehicles
Patrolling Stewards
Provide a visible steward presence and give advice to visitors
Marquee Stewards
Provide a visible steward presence and control crowd flow
Lead Stewards
Oversee a specific area and manage the stewards
Set-up/break-down
Help set up in the morning and pack up at the end of the day
