Something to Chew On
Explore the food issues that matter to us all
Discover the work of local organisations

Dig a bit deeper into the food issues that matter to us all and find out how local organisations are tackling these issues. This year’s menu covers food waste, food security, food poverty, mental health and sustainable food systems. We’ve got some interesting stands to explore, including FareShare South West, the National Farmers’ Union, Seed of Hope and Shepton Waste Action Group. You can also chat with kimchi ambassador, Jo Webster, and browse the selection from The Kitchen Table mobile bookshop.
New for 2026 are our Table Talks, a series of short, engaging presentations and Q&A sessions throughout the day, plus a talk on food security at 11am from Tessa Munt, MP for Wells and Mendip Hills, and a special Q&A at 11.30 with our headline sponsor, Charlie Bigham.
